Bu makalede Platon’un Devlet diyaloğunda karşımıza çıkan filozof-kral tasvirleri ile Timaios diyaloğunda resmedilen tanrı (Demiurgos) tasvirleri arasında bir koşutluk olup olmadığı sorusuna cevap aranmaktadır. Cevap aradığımız bu spesifik soru, “Platon’un diyaloglarındaki tanrı tasavvuru ile, filozof tasavvuru arasında bir paralellik olup olmadığı” şeklinde ifade edilebilecek bir üst soruyla ilintilidir.
