Anadolu üç tarafının denizlerle çevrili olması, zengin yeraltı ve yerüstü kaynakları, ticaret yolları üzerinde bulunmasıyla asırlardır birçok uygarlığın çekim merkezi olmuştur. MÖ 1974-1719 yılları arasında Mezopotamya topraklarının kuzeyinde bulunan Asur Devleti Anadolu’da 255 yıl devam edecek Asur Ticaret Kolonilerini kurmuştur. Bu koloninin merkezi bugün Kayseri ilinin sınırları içinde kalan Kültepe/Kaniš Kārum’udur. Bu Kārum’da çıkartılan yaklaşık 23.500 adet tablette Anadolu’ya ticaret için gelen tüccarlara ait borç-alacak ilişkisine dair kayıtlar bulunmaktadır. Tabletlerde yer alan kayıtların bir kısmı muhasebe uygulamalarına dair maliyet hesaplamaları ile ilgilidir. Bu çalışmada fiziki ve doküman inceleme yöntemi kullanılarak Kültepe / Kaniš Kārum’unda çıkartılan tabletlerdeki muhasebe kayıtları ortaya çıkartılmaktadır. Three sides of Anatolia have been the attraction center of many civilizations for centuries with the surrounding of the seas, the rich ground and ground resources, the commercial routes. Between 1974-1719 BC, the Asur State, located in the north of the territory of Mesopotamia, established the Asur Trade Colonies in Anatolia for 255 years. The center of this colony is Kültepe/Kaniš Kārum, which is now within the borders of the Kayseri province. About 23,500 tablets issued in this Kārum contain records of the debt-receiving relationship of traders who come to trade in Anadolu. Some of the records on the tablets are related to cost calculations for their accounting applications. In this study, the accounting records in the tablets extracted in Kültepe / Kaniš Kārum are revealed using the physical and documentary examination method.
