In this paper, the biography of Ahmed Saib Beg , who was dissident of Sultan Abdülhamid II and his absolute rule and one of the writers and historians of the Late Ottoman Empire, will be examined based on his hand-written short biographies. Chronologically, the subjects as his family and educational background, his military employments, the editorship and proprietorship of the Standard (Sanjak) and Şura-yı Ümmet Newspapers in Egypt and his relations with the Committee of Union and Progress will be deal with. Afterwards, his duties as resettle refugees in Bursa and Konya and his ideas about history, besides his participation as Caucasian delegate in the 3rd Congress of Oppressed Peoples sponsored by Union des Nationalités in 1916 and Stockholm Conference of 1917 while he was assigned as Russian language teacher in Ottoman’s University (Darülfünun) will be explored according to archival sources. Furthermore, the information about his works as writer, historian and translator will be listed in chronological order. The information about his employments, starting and leaving dates of his duties, their explanations and his salaries will be given for the first time in a chronological tabulated list in appendix
