Abstract:

Students with the field of science, technology and community learning included in the primary education social information program are aimed at learning the scientific and technological developments, the place and importance of these developments in their lives, the information that science provides to humanity is transformed into technology and used for the benefit of society. That is why individuals are expected to be aware of the scientific and technological developments, to use this information effectively, and even to be in activities like a small scientist. So how much are the high school students aware of those who want to be taught? The aim of this study is to determine what the opinions of high school students about the scientific history issues are, whether there is a difference between these opinions arising from age groups, gender, class levels. The research has used a screening model. Identifying the opinions of students about the historical importance of scientific history subjects is used as a data collection tool. The group of 860 high school students identified through sampling constitutes the participants of the research. The data obtained from the research was evaluated using content analysis and visual analysis methods. The study found that the most important events that students saw were the Discovery of the Writing, the Discovery of Fire, the Invention of Television, the Invention of the Wheel and the Invention of the Computer, and also the differences in gender, age and class level were identified.
