The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable scale measuring perceptions about gifted children in early childhood. Within the scope of the research, validity and reliability studies were carried out with the data obtained from a total of 645 preschool teachers and preschool teacher candidates. For scale validity expert opinion, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were performed. Two different groups were studied, consisting of 318 teachers and teacher candidates for EFA, 322 teachers and teacher candidates for CFA. The participants of the research were determined based on the snowball sampling method. The scale has a three-factor structure consisting of 34 items: "Characteristics of Gifted Children", "Identification of Gifted Children" and "Supporting of Gifted Children". It has been concluded that this scale with three factors explains 49.9% of the variance. As a result of the CFA, it was seen that the scale showed good fit values. The alpha value of the scale scores calculated for the reliability is .922 for all scale. For the sub-dimensions of the scale, it was found to be .894, .742, and .763. These results, it was concluded that the Gifted Children Perception Scale is a valid and reliable.
