Calling has been started to be examined recently in our country while the concept of calling which is one of the approaches that employees perceive their jobs, has been considered among the frequently studied topics abroad in the research of positive psychology. Regardless of working conditions, salaries, and the job, calling has been examined as search and presence in two dimensions. Basically, dimensions which have been identified as search means some still search for calling, while presence means some have calling. The effort to understand the employees’ behavior has increased in the organizations day by day in the 21st century, thus the concept of calling which is one of the important positive psychology topics needs to be searched. Studies claim that perceiving a calling differs from living out a calling. In this study, which is based according to Work as a Calling Theory, it is stated that individuals with high levels of calling have higher job performance as the theory assumes. In this research, the assumption that presence of calling or search for calling will affect job performance was tested using quantitative research method. The sample of the study consists of 311 healthcare employees who work in public and private hospitals in Isparta. SPSS 26 and AMOS 21 programs were used to analyze the data collected using the convenience sampling method. The Process macro was used to test the established model. As a result of the findings, it was determined that there were positive and significant relationships between the presence of calling and search for calling of the employees and job performance.
