Introduction and Purpose: In our study, we aimed at investigating the diagnostic value of endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) in cases of lung sarcoidosis and the factors associated with the diagnosis. Method and Requirements: In this further-planned study, we examined the facts of EBUS transbronchial injection aspiration (TBIA) in the tumor computer tomography, clinically and radiologically considered lung sarcoidosis, which was applied to our clinic between January 2014 and September 2015. FUNCTIONS: In the study period, 107 patients were given EBUS-TBIA, one patient was given transozofagial injection (EUS-TÖIA) accompanied by endoscopic ultrasound. Four patients diagnosed with non-sarcoidosis (tuberculosis) were removed from the study. 28% of 104 patients diagnosed with sarcoidosis. 8 of them were male and 71.2 percent female. The average age was 44.3±13.1 years. 96 of the hundred four patients (92.3%) were diagnosed with EBUS-TBIA, one patient (1%) was diagnosed with EUS-TII. Six of the seven patients who were undiagnosed with mediastinoscopy were diagnosed with sarcoidosis with the biopsy of the lymph nodes of the right supraclavics. The sensitivity of EBUS-TBIA was 92.3 percent and the specificity was 100 percent. CONTRACT AND RESULTAT: In patients with sarkoidosis suspicion, the EBUS-TBIA has a high sensitivity and specificity in showing granulomatosal inflammation, and the high diagnosis rate has concluded that advanced invasive processes are unnecessary.
