Abstract Undoubtedly, digital experiences cannot replace face-to-face interactions, but developing digital technologies such as 360-degree technology, virtual, augmented and mixed reality applications, educational and entertainment video games have increasingly begun to affect the way individuals behave and interact with cultural heritage. With the application of digital technologies to cultural heritage, academic interest in the subject has started to increase. The aim of the study is to perform a bibliometric analysis of published studies on cultural heritage and digitalization. Publications with the subject of "cultural heritage" and "digitalization" were scanned from the Web of Science database on 08.10.2022. During the scanning process, no field filtering was done and a total of 248 related publications were reached. When the source countries of the publications were examined, it was determined that the most common sources were Italy, China and Spain. The three most frequently used keywords are cultural heritage, digitization and conservation, respectively. The top three most cited authors are “Javier Melere, R.”, “Sloer, F.” and “Victoria Luzan, M.” are the authors. “Monova-Zheleva, M.”, “Stewart, R.” and “Zhelev, Y.” He was determined as the author who directs publications on cultural heritage and digitalization.
