This study defines the quality and quantity of interactive media steers in magazines. Uses of web pages, social media, QR codes and mobile applications steers have become widespread in printed materials, which are in the traditional media category. With these kinds of applications in printed materials, the readers can be received additional information by directing to digital media. The aim of this study is to reveal in what ways the magazine readers directs to the digital world. In this context, the prevalence was analyzed by the use of QR (Quick Response) codes. In this study, content analyses were conducted to magazines in three different categories, which published in the year of 2012. In the content analyses, the qualıty and quantıty of interactive media steer in the magazines were analyzed. According to the findings, it can be said that the use of QR codes in magazines are in a rapid upward trend.
