The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the stigmatization tendencies and altruism features of students who continue their social work undergraduate education. The study is a cross-sectional study. 138 social work students participated in the study. In the study, data were collected with personal information form, stigma and altruism scales. The data were analyzed in SPSS package program. According to the results; the sub-dimensions of the stigma scale according to gender significantly differ in their mean scores; It was determined that the average of discrimination and exclusion, labeling, psychological health and prejudice scores of men are higher than women. There is a low and positive meaningful relationship with the size of the participants and the sub-dimensions of the altruism scale (r=0,220 p<0.01). (F3;134 = 14.305; p<0.01), it was determined that the sub-dimension mean scores differed significantly, and the mean scores received by the participants from the helping dimension of the altruism scale according to the education level of their mothers showed a significant difference (F2; 135 = 3.86; p<0.05). There were negative and low (r=-0,192, p<0.05) scores between participants' altruism and stigmatization scales, and a negative and low level of significant relationship between discrimination and exclusion from sub-dimensions of stigmatization scale and helping altruism (r =-0.180,p<0,05). Studies should be carried out to increase the altruistic behavior and to prevent the stigmatization tendency among the students of social work
