The work of Fattâhî-i Nîshapûrî (d. AH 852/AD 1448-9?), one of the leading names in Persian literature, which became famous with the name Şebistân-ı Hayâl has been known for critical expressions such as "It is in the style of Şebistân-ı Hayâl", which is used to describe the style of poems written by ta‘miye methods and through translations, commentaries and naziras of Şebistân-ı Hayâl in classical Turkish literature. Senâyî's Neyistân-ı Zülâl is also a nazira on Fettahî's Şebistan-ı Hayâl. In the XVIth century, when Şehzade Mustafa was the governor of Saruhan province, Senâyî, a poet in literary circles Manisa, was mentioned in many sources with Neyistân-ı Zülâl. However, there is no study focused on this work, and mentions in historical sources are limited to the knowledge that Neyistân-ı Zülâl was written in the style of Fettahî's Şebistan-ı Hayâl. The copy of the work introduced in this study is among the manuscripts transferred to the Süleymaniye Library in 1940 from the library established by Mahmud Efendi in the Yahya Efendi Lodge and is registered in Hacı Mahmud Efendi Collection number 2051. This copy, which has no material deficiency, consists of 95 leaves. In our study, the records about the author’s life and works in the sources were evaluated by comparing them with the information in the aforementioned copy, and it was tried to determine the place of Neyistân-ı Zülâl among the works based on Şebistan-ı Hayâl in the classical Turkish literature, in terms of form and content features of the copy. In addition to these, the chapters of the text were briefly summarized, an explanation of the ta‘miye style used in the work, and the transcripted texts of its prologue and epilogue were given.
