In this study, the factors that should be considered in understanding the youth and the issues that should be considered in the religious education of this period are discussed. The issues affecting young people were tried to be described with the distinction of external and internal factors. External factors It consists of institutions such as family, school, society, as well as the concepts and phenomena used in defining today in social sciences. Internal factors are the psychological aspects and the developmental characteristics of the youth period. Afterwards, the perceptions, attitudes and behaviors of young people towards religious education were evaluated. Along with institutions such as family, school, friends, which affect the religious education of youth, religion and the meaning of life, the relationship between religiosity and material and spiritual health, the issues that are effective in the departure of young people from religion are discussed. Finally, suggestions for the youth period are given, with religious education at the center. In determining the prominent issues in the youth period and religious education in this period It has been tried to present a perspective in which opportunities and opportunities are taken into account along with difficulties and negativities. It was emphasized that the youth period is a part of the whole of life. Qualitative research method was used in the study, data were obtained by document analysis and content analysis of the data was made. By making comparisons, comments, assumptions and evaluations, thoughts and ideas were tried to be interpreted within the framework of the available data.
