Persistent Müllerian duct syndrome (PMDS) is a rare syndrome characterized by the presence of such structures of uterus, fallopian tubes and top 2/3 of the vagina in a male with normal phenotype. The syndrome is frequently seen in male form characterized by unilateral undescended testis and contralateral hernia uteri inguinalis or more rarely seen in female form characterized by Mullerian structures and bilateral undescended testes localized in ovarian position.
