Bu araştırmanın temel amacı özel bir zincir hastane grubunun finansal performansının DuPont analizi tekniği ile incelenmesidir. Araştırmada söz konusu zincir hastane grubunun 2017, 2018 ve 2019 finansal verileri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada yer alan finansal veriler, ilgili özel hastane grubunun web sitesinden ve Kamu Aydınlatma Platformu’ndan (KAP) alınmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda söz konusu hastanenin 2017, 2018 ve 2019 yıllarında aktif ve özsermaye karlılığının pozitif olduğu ancak bir önceki yıllara göre bu oranlarda azalış olduğu görülmüştür. Bunun nedenin de; bir önceki yıla göre aktif karlılığındaki (ROA) azalış ve özsermaye çarpanındaki artıştan kaynaklandığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Özsermaye çarpanının yıllar itibariyle artması, borçlanmanın dolayısıyla da finansal riskin artması anlamına gelmekte olduğundan, söz konusu hastane grubu için yabancı kaynakların pasif içindeki payının azaltılarak özkaynakların artırılması önerilebilir.
The aim of this research is to analyze the financial performance of a private chain hospital group with DuPont analysis technique. 2017, 2018 and 2019 financial data of the chain hospital group were used in the study. The financial data included in the study were taken from the website of the relevant private hospital group and the Public Disclosure Platform (PDP). As a result of the research, it was seen that the said hospital group had a positive return on assets and return on equity in 2017, 2018 and 2019, but there was a decrease in these rates compared to the previous years. The reason for this is; it is concluded that it is caused by the decrease in return on assets (ROA) compared to the previous year and the increase in equity multiplier. Since the increase in the equity multiplier by years means an increase in borrowing and therefore the financial risk, it may be suggested for the hospital group in question to increase the equity by decreasing the share of foreign resources in liabilities.
