Abstract:

Pablo Picasso is one of the first names that come to mind when it comes to modern art. Picasso’s image in daily culture can be said to be a creative, innovative and devil artist. It can be said that Picasso's place in the painting canon is important. As an influence, it can be claimed that Picasso’s appearance in modern art is diverse. Picasso's influence is seen in the works of the generation and subsequent painters. This work is about this effect. The study suggests to try a story about the matter of canon and effect in the picture. Studying how Picasso was captured in the history of art, he tries to define the 'Picasso effect' in the continuing section. This is done around several categories. These categories are also trying to show the existence and influence of the painters and works in the twentieth century. In addition, the study tries to show that the influence of Picasso exceeds modern art, considering it as an idea in contemporary art.
