Sosyal sorumluluk anlayışı batı geleneğinden köklenerek toplumsal yaşantımıza girmiş bir anlayıştır. Özellikle 1960’lı yıllar ve takip eden dönem sivil hareketlerin daha yüksek tondan seslerinin duyulduğu yıllar olmuştur. Sivil toplumun hükümetler ve işletmeler üzerinde baskı unsuru olmaya başlaması tüm aktörler nezdinde sosyal sorumluluk farkındalığının artması sonucunu doğurmuştur. Kurumsal sorumluluk, sosyal sorumluluk kavramını da içine alarak şirketlerin iş yapma pratiklerine ve yönetim anlayışlarına etik ekseninde yaklaşımını içerir. Ahilik kurumu ise Anadolu topraklarından köklenen, toplumsal/askeri/ekonomik işlevleri olan bir yapılanma olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Osmanlı Devleti’nde askeri işlevlerini yitirmiş dahi olsa Ahilik kurumu yüzyıllar boyunca toplumsal birliğin devamlılığı konusunda sorumluluk üstlenmiş, bu topraklarda iş etiğinin temellerini atmış ve toplumsal ihtiyaç alanlarında varlık göstermiş tarihsel bir gerçeklik olarak karşımızda durmaktadır. Bu çalışmada kurumsal sorumluluk farkındalığını derinleştirirken tarihsel kültürel mirasımızın bir parçası olan Ahilik Kurumunun bu çerçevede yeniden gözden geçirilmesinin gerekliliği tartışılmaktadır.
The concept of social responsibility is rooted in the Western tradition and became part of our agenda. Especially the 1960s and the following period were the years when the voices of the civilian movements were heard in higher tones. The pressure that was put by civil society on governments and business resulted in increased social responsibility awareness among all actors. Corporate responsibility, including social responsibility, is about integrating ethical, social, and environmental concerns to business operations. He emerged from Anatolia with social/military/economic functions. Even though it lost its military functions as the Ottoman Empire arose, Ahilik assumed responsibility for the continuity of social unity for centuries, implemented a foundation for business ethics, and played a role in meeting the needs of society. In this study, the advantages of reviewing the history as part of our historical culture and heritage is discussed for raising awareness of corporate responsibility.
