Özet:

Özet Cumhuriyet’in ilanından sonraki ilk 15 yılı kapsayan süreçte toplumun anayasal, hukuksal, iktisadi, eğitsel ve en önemlisi kültürel yaşamını yeni rejime göre düzenleyen devrimler uygulamaya konulmuştur. Türk Devrimi olarak hayata geçirilen bu uygulamalar, Cumhuriyet’in kurucu değerlerini toplumda yerleştirme ve daha sonraki nesillere aktarma amacıyla ve çağdaşlaşma temelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Türk Devrimi’nin üzerinde en çok tartışılan ve toplumun sosyo-kültürel yaşamını doğrudan etkileyen bileşenlerinden biri de Musiki İnkılabı’dır. Musiki İnkılabı’nın nihai amacı yüksek Batı kültürünün bir parçası olan Batı müziğinin yaygınlaşmasını sağlamaktı. Bu doğrultuda dönemin kültür hayatındaki bu değişim doğal olarak basın-yayın faaliyetlerine, daha dar anlamda müzik yayıncılığına da yansımıştır. 1931 yılında yayın hayatına başlayan Musiki dergisi de Batı müziği odaklı bir yayın politikası takip etmiştir. Ahmet Muhtar Ataman tarafından yalnızca 7 sayı çıkarılabilen dergide ağırlıklı olarak sanat eğitimi, musiki cemiyetleri, yerli ve yabancı besteciler, yurt dışından müzik haberleri ve ses sistemleri gibi konular ele alınmıştır. Bu çalışmada 1930’lu yılların kültürel karakteristik özellikleriyle birlikte müzik ve sanat atmosferine ışık tutan Musiki dergisi incelenecektir. Abstract In the period covering the first 15 years after the proclamation of the Republic, revolutions that regulate the constitutional, legal, economic, educational and most importantly cultural life of the society according to the new regime were put into practice. These practices, which were brought to life as the Turkish Revolution, were designed on the basis of modernization, in order to bring the nation-state established under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk to a legitimate ground, to place the founding values of the Republic in the society and to transfer it to the next generations. One of the most discussed components of the Turkish Revolution and directly affecting the socio-cultural life of the society is the Musical Revolution. As with other reforms, the ultimate goal of the Musical Revolution was to spread Western music, which is a part of high Western culture. In this direction, this dynamism in the cultural life of the period was naturally reflected in the press and broadcasting activities, and in a narrower sense in music publishing. The Musiki journal, which started its publication life in 1931, also followed a publication policy focused on Western music. The journal, which can only be published in 7 issues by Ahmet Muhtar Ataman, mainly deals with subjects such as art education, music societies, local and foreign composers, music news from abroad and sound systems. In this study, the Musiki journal, which sheds light on the music and art atmosphere with the characteristic features of the 1930s, will be examined. While examining, the relationship between the issues in the magazine and the music policies of the period will also be discussed. Key Words: 1930’s, Music Politics, Music Journals, Musiki Journal.
