The concept of plurality, which indicates the existence of more than one, is a concept that is generally considered in the category of number in languages. The concept of plurality is special category established with different structures such as affixes, words and phrases in languages. The plural suffix +lAr, which is widely used in the Turkic dialects (except Chuvash Turkic), both in historical and contemporary times however, the existence of many plural suffixes, which have been seen since the ancient written texts of Turkic and lost their plural suffix function because they fused with the roots or stems of the words, is an indication that Turkic is a rich language about plural suffixes. Apart from the plural suffix +lAr, which is widely used in Turkic, the existence of some suffixes such as +z, (+r), +gUn, +An, +lA, +t, +k, +s, +ş etc. which have been frozen, fused or lost its active plural function in the historical process, has attracted the attention of many Turcologs and have been the subject of research. One of the plural suffixes in Altaic languages is *l plural suffix. Poppe noted that the plural suffix *l is systematically preserved in Tungusic (mō > mō-l "trees" mū > mū-l "waters", bira > bira-l "rivers") He stated that even though it is not found in written Mongolian, this structure can be seen in the oldest texts of Mongolian. In Turkic, the plural suffix *l does not exist in this form he stated that it is only included in the appendix *1A as a part of the plural suffix +lAr. In this study, it will be tried to prove that the plural suffix *l, which is seen as *l in Altaic languages, also exists in Turkic in an archaic form with *l form independent of +lAr or *lA structure, just like in Altaic languages, and it still lives in some structures that are fused with words.
