The aim of this study is to determine the effect of 8-week bosu balance and strength exercise program (BBSEP) on body composition, anaerobic power and balance ability of adolescent female volleyball players. A total of 30 volleyball players, 15 as the experimental group (14.87 ± 0.92) and 15 as the control group (14.93 ± 0.70), from the 14-16 age groups, who are licensed to play in Adana Volem Sports Club, participated in the study. While the control group athletes continued their regular volleyball training throughout the season, the experimental group was given a balance and strength exercise program three days a week for an extra 8 weeks. While obtaining the data, flamingo balance, vertical jump and standing long jump tests were applied. Paired Samples t-test was conducted in pre-test and post-test measurements of the experimental and control group, while Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to examine the correlation between the effects of training and physical and conditional characteristics. As a result of the study, no significant increase was observed in the mean values of height, body weight and body mass index of the experimental group after 8 weeks of bosu balance and strength exercise program (p>0.05). According to the results of Cohen's d analysis, a moderate improvement was observed in the flamingo balance right and left foot, standing long jump, vertical jump and anaerobic power averages of the experimental group. In the control group, no change was observed at the end of 8 weeks. As a result, it was found that bosu exercises affect the development of balance and strength in volleyball players. Bosu exercises can be included in the training program for balance and strength development.
