This study aims to determine the effect of dramatization method on verb learning in teaching the Turkish language to foreign students The study group consisted of 42 foreign students between the ages of 7-12 and A1 level and studying in Antakya, Hatay in 2017-2018 academic year. In the research, an experimental design with pre-test and post-test control group was used. 21 of the students were randomly assigned to the experimental group and 21 to the control group. As a data collection tool, the Verb Achievement Test with 24 questions created by the researcher and the Student Interview Form were used to determine student views. In the study, which was completed in a period of 5 weeks, verb teaching was applied to the experimental group students with the dramatization method, and in the control group it was done by the traditional method. As a result of the research it was figured out that there was a significant difference between the experimental group in which verbs were explained with the dramatization method and the control group in which verbs were explained with the traditional method, in favor of the experimental group according to the Verb Achievement Scores (VAT). Also, it was concluded that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental group in favor of the post-test. It was determined that the gender variable did not make a significant difference in the verb learning of the experimental and control group students.
