Bu araştırmanın amacı psikolojik danışmanların ve danışman adaylarının erken dönem uyum bozucu şemalarının danışma öncesi ve sürekli kaygı düzeylerine etkisinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 2012-2013 eğitim-öğretim yılında Konya merkezde çeşitli okullarda görev yapmakta olan 233 psikolojik danışman ve Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Ahmet Keleşoğlu Eğitim Fakültesi Psikolojik Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik Bölümü öğrencilerinden oluşan 202 katılımcıdan oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada; erken dönem uyum bozucu şema puanlarını belirlemek amacıyla “Young Şema Ölçeği Kısa Form 3”, danışma öncesi ve sürekli kaygı puanlarını belirlemek için “Durumluk ve Sürekli Kaygı Envanteri”; cinsiyeti, yaş ile ilgili bilgilerini belirleyebilmek amacıyla araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre psikolojik danışmanların duygusal yoksunluk, duyguları bastırma, kusurluluk ve fedakârlık dışındaki tüm erken dönem uyum bozucu şemalarının (başarısızlık, karamsarlık, sosyal izolasyon, onay arayıcılık, iç içelik, haklılık, terk edilme, cezalandırıcılık, dayanıksızlık, mükemmeliyetçilik) durumluk kaygı ile anlamlı düzeyde ilişkili olduğu bulunmuştur. Psikolojik danışmanların erken dönem uyum bozucu şemalarının on sekizi de sürekli kaygı düzeyleriyle anlamlı derecede ilişkili bulunmuştur. Danışman adaylarının ise duygusal yoksunluk, haklılık ve mükemmeliyetçilik dışındaki tüm erken dönem uyum bozucu şemalarının (başarısızlık, karamsarlık, sosyal izolasyon, duyguları bastırma, onay arayıcılık, iç içelik, fedakârlık, terk edilme, cezalandırıcılık, kusurluluk, dayanıksızlık) durumluk kaygı ile anlamlı düzeyde ilişkili olduğu bulunmuştur. Psikolojik danışman adaylarının fedakârlık ve cezalandırıcılık dışındaki bütün şemaları (duygusal yoksunluk, başarısızlık, karamsarlık, sosyal izolasyon, duyguları bastırma, onay arayıcılık, iç içelik, haklılık, terk edilme, kusurluluk, dayanıksızlık, mükemmeliyetçilik) sürekli kaygı düzeyleriyle pozitif yönde anlamlı düzeyde ilişkilidir.
The purpose of this study is to study the impact of early-term disadvantage schemes of psychological consultants and consultant candidates on the pre-consulting and continuous level of anxiety. The study’s work group consists of 233 psychological consultants who are working in various schools in the Konya center in the 2012-2013 educational year and 202 participants consisting of students from the Department of Psychological Consultancy and Guidance of the Faculty of Education of the Necmettin Erbakan University Ahmet Keleşoğlu. In the study; "Young Scheme Scale Short Form 3" for the purpose of determining early-term disadvantage scheme scores, "Situation and Continuous Anxiety Reserve" for the purpose of determining pre-consulting and continuous anxiety scores; "Personal Information Form" used by the researcher for the purpose of determining their gender, age-related information. According to the research results, psychological consultants have found that all early-term disadvantage schemes, except emotional absence, emotional suppression, deficiency and sacrifice, are significantly associated with state anxiety ( failure, frustration, social isolation, seeking approval, inner intrinsicity, righteousness, abandonment, punishment, insolvency, perfectionism). Eighteen of the early-term disadvantage schemes of psychological consultants have been found significantly associated with the constant level of anxiety. Advisory candidates have found that all early-term disadvantage schemes, except emotional absence, righteousness and perfectionism ( failure, frustration, social isolation, sentimental oppression, seeking approval, inner intrinsicity, sacrifice, abandonment, punishment, deficiency, insolvency) are significantly associated with conditional anxiety. All schemes of psychological consultants except sacrifice and punishment (emotional absence, failure, frustration, social isolation, emotional oppression, seeking approval, inner intrinsicity, righteousness, abandonment, deficiency, insolvency, perfectionism) are linked to constant levels of anxiety at a positive level.
The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of early period maladaptive schemas on pre-counselling and continuous anxiety levels of psychological counselors and counselling trainees. The study group consisted of 436 people , 233 of whom are psychological counselors having worked in various schools in the center of Konya in 2012-2013 academic year , and 202 of whom are Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department students in Necmettin Erbakan University Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty. In the study, “Young Schema Scale Short Form 3 ”has been used to determine early maladaptive schema scores , “State and Trait Anxiety Inventory” has been used to determine the pre-consultative and trait anxiety scores ; and Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher has been used to determine the information about gender and age. According to the results of the research, except for emotional deprivation, emotional inhibition, defectiveness and self-sacrifice , all early maladaptive schemas (failure to achieve, pessimism, social isolation, approval- seeking, enmeshment, entitlement, abandonment, punitiveness, vulnerability to harm or illness , unrelenting standards ) of the Psychological Counselors have been found to be significantly correlated with state anxiety levels. All 18 early maladaptive schemas of psychological counselors have been found to be significantly correlated with trait anxiety levels. As for the counselling trainees, except for their emotional deprivation, entitlement, and unrelenting standards , all early maladaptive schemas (failure to achieve, pessimism, social isolation, emotional inhibition, approval- seeking, enmeshment, entitlement, self-sacrifice , abandonment, punitiveness, defectiveness, vulnerability to harm or illness ) have been found to be significantly correlated with state anxiety levels.Except for self-sacrifice , punitiveness, all early maladaptive schemas ( emotional deprivation, failure to achieve, pessimism, social isolation, emotional inhibition, approval- seeking, enmeshment, entitlement, abandonment, vulnerability to harm or illness , unrelenting standards ) of the counselling trainees have been found to be positively and significantly correlated with trait anxiety levels.
