Bu araştırma, otel işletmelerinde yöneticilerin sergilemiş oldukları etik liderlik davranışlarının çalışanların örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışı üzerine etkileri üzerine odaklanmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı, yöneticilerin sergiledikleri etik liderlik davranışlarının çalışanların ÖVD üzerinde etkili olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Bu amaçla Kastamonu ve Sinop illerinde faaliyet gösteren otel işletmelerinde 40 çalışandan yazılı soru sorma (online anket) tekniği ile veriler toplanmıştır. Araştırmada uygulanan anket 41 sorudan oluşmaktadır. 5 soru çalışanların demografik özellikleri ile ilgilidir. De Hoogh ve Den Hartog (2008) tarafından geliştirilen ve Alkan (2015) tarafından Türkçe’ye çevrilen 17 maddelik etik liderlik ölçeği, örgütsel vatandaşlık davranış derecesini belirleyebilmek amacıyla da Basım ve Şeşen (2006)’in iki ayrı çalışmadan faydalanarak hazırladığı 19 ifadeden oluşan ölçek kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında belirlenen hipotezleri test etmek için regresyon analizinden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, etik liderliğin diğerkâmlık, vicdanlılık, nezaket ve sivil erdem boyutu üzerinde pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu, centilmenlik boyutu üzerinde ise anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olmadığı görülmüştür.
This research focuses on the effects of the ethical leadership behaviours of the managers in the hotel businesses on the organizational citizenship behaviour of the employees. The aim of the study is to determine whether the ethical leadership behaviors of the managers are effective on the OCB of the employees. For this purpose, data were collected from 40 employees in hotel businesses operating in Kastamonu and Sinop provinces by asking written questions (online questionnaire). The questionnaire applied in the research consists of 41 questions. 5 questions are about the demographic characteristics of the employees. De Hooghe and Den Hartog (2008) and developed by Alkan (2015) translated to Turkish 17-point ethical leadership scale, to determine the organizational citizenship behavior very purpose of the Printing and Şeşen (2006) in two separate benefiting from the study prepared by the 19 statements which consists of scale used. Regression analysis was used to test the hypotheses determined within the scope of the research. According to the results of the research, it was seen that ethical leadership has a positive and significant effect on altruism, conscientiousness, courtesy and civic virtue dimensions, but it does not have a significant effect on the sportsmanship dimension.
