Hareketli masal kitaplarının, çocukların bilişsel yeteneklerini olumlu yönde geliştirerek, yaratıcı hayal gücünü zenginleştirip kitap sevgisini oluşturarak, çevresiyle daha kolay iletişim sağlamasına yardımcı olacağı düşünülmektedir. Çocuk gelişimi için bu denli önemli olduğu düşünülen hareketli kitapların illüstrasyon tasarım özellikleri incelenerek örnek bir masal kitabının hazırlanması araştırmanın temel amacını oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışma; konu ve kullanılan illüstrasyon açısından Türk kültürüne ait ögeleri içerisinde barındıran bir temayla, okul öncesi dönem çocukları için bir uzman tarafından Türkiye’de hazırlanmış ilk hareketli kitaplardan biri olma açısından da önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir. Araştırmada, 2011-2017 yılları arasında okul öncesi dönem çocuklarına yönelik telif hakkı satın alınıp yayınlanan yedi ayrı hareketli masal kitabına yer verilmiştir. Belirlenen hareketli masal kitaplarından altısı yerli yayınevleri tarafından yayın hakları satın alınıp Türkçeye çevrilen yabancı kitapları oluşturmaktadır. Yedinci kitap ise, her aşaması Türkiye’de hazırlanmış ve Türk Kültür ögelerini içinde barındıran yerli hareketli masal kitabı olarak çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. İllüstrasyon ve hareketli parçalar bakımından iyi tasarlandığı ya da tasarım sorunlarının olduğu düşünülen yedi hareketli masal kitabının analizi, araştırmaya anlamlı bir boyut katabileceği düşünülüp çalışma kapsamına dahil edilmiştir. Araştırma dahilinde tez konusuyla ilgili; yurt içi ve dışı basımlı üç boyutlu hikaye kitapları, dergi, makale, yurt içi ve yurt dışı tez, bildiri, kitap ve internet kaynaklarından faydalanılarak veriler elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada; Türkiye’de pek fazla gelişim gösterememiş ama yurtdışında oldukça zengin bir tarihi geçmişi olan hareketli masal kitaplarının yapımı ve illüstrasyon tasarım özellikleri incelenmektedir. Bu doğrultuda, araştırmanın sonucunda üç boyutlu ve hareketli bir masal kitabı hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından tasarlanan hareketli ve 3 boyutlu masal kitabının grafiksel olarak iç ve dış yapı tasarım özelliklerinin, okul öncesi çocukların düzeyine uygunluğu, araştırmacı tarafından belirli ölçütler dikkate alınarak geliştirilen uzman değerlendirme formu ile tespit edilmiştir. Bu kapsamda iki Grafik Tasarım alan uzmanının görüşlerine başvurularak, tasarlanan masal kitabının iç yapı özelliklerini “tema, konu, kahramanlar, plan ve üslup” açısından ve dış yapı özelliklerini “kitabın boyutu, sayfa düzeni, harfler, illüstrasyonlar ve kapak (kâğıt, cilt)” açısından uygun değil, biraz uygun, uygun ve tamamen uygun şeklinde değerlendirmeleri istenmiştir. Alan uzmanları tarafından yapılan değerlendirmenin sonucu, tasarlanan hareketli ve 3 boyutlu masal kitabının grafiksel olarak iç ve dış yapı tasarım özelliklerinin okul öncesi çocukların düzeyine uygun olduğunu ve tasarım açısından güvenilir sonuçlar verdiğini göstermiştir. Hareketli masal kitapları, okul öncesi dönem çocuklarının hem bilişsel hem de fiziksel gelişimlerine olumlu anlamda katkı sağlayacağı, ayrıca eğitim ve öğretim için ideal interaktif bir materyal olacağı elde edilen bulgularla belirlenmiştir.
Moving fairy tales are believed to help them communicate with their surroundings more easily, by developing the children’s cognitive abilities in a positive direction, enriching their creative imagination and creating the love of books. The preparation of an example fairy tale by studying the illustration design characteristics of moving books considered to be so important for the development of the child is the main objective of the research. This study, with a theme that contains the topics of Turkish culture in terms of subject and used illustration, is also considered important in terms of being one of the first moving books prepared in Turkey by a specialist for pre-school children. The study included seven separate moving fairy tales books that were purchased and published copyrights for pre-school children between 2011 and 2017. Six of the specified moving narrative books are foreign books purchased by local publishers and translated into Turkish. The seventh book, each of the phases, was prepared in Turkey and included in the work as a native moving fairy tale book that contains Turkish Culture subjects. The analysis of the seven moving fairy tales, which are well designed in terms of illustration and moving parts or are considered to have design problems, is considered to add a meaningful dimension to the research and has been included in the study scope. The research is related to the thesis subject; domestic and foreign printed three-dimensional story books, magazines, articles, domestic and foreign thesis, publications, books and internet resources have been obtained by data. In the research; in Turkey has not shown much development but a very rich historical history abroad, the production and illustration design characteristics are studied. In this direction, the research resulted in a three-dimensional and moving story book. The dynamic and 3-dimensional fairy tale book designed by the researcher was graphically identified by the design characteristics of the internal and external structure, the suitability to the level of pre-school children, the expert evaluation form developed by the researcher taking into account specific standards. In this context, referring to the opinions of two graphic design specialists, the interior characteristics of the designed fairy tale book were asked to be assessed in terms of "theme, subject, heroes, plan and style" and the external characteristics of the structure in terms of "the size of the book, page layout, letters, illustrations and cover (paper, leather)" were not suitable, but somewhat suitable, suitable and completely suitable. The results of the assessment by field experts showed that the moving and three-dimensional fairy tale book designed graphically the interior and external design characteristics correspond to the level of pre-school children and gives reliable results in terms of design. Moving fairy tales are determined by the findings that pre-school children will contribute positively to both cognitive and physical development, and will also be an ideal interactive material for education and teaching.
