Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, farklı içerikli çocuk diş macunlarının süt dişi mine yüzey pürüzlülüğü üzerine etkisinin in vitro olarak değerlendirmektir. Material and methods: This study was performed on 30 primary maxillary santral teeth buccal enamel surfaces, with newly exracted, non-carious and without surface defect. The teeth were randomly divided into 3 groups (n=10). Initial surface roughness was measured at three different points with a profilometer and the average was obtained. Sensodyne Pronamel in group 1, Oral B Pro-Expert Stages in group 2 and Elmex Kinder-Zahnpastai in group 3 were applied with charged toothbrush for 2 minutes, twice a day and a week. Surface roughness was again measured after brushing. Data were analyzed statistically. Results: Statistically significant difference was not found between the three groups in initial roughness values (0.47 μm, 0.48 μm ve 0.52 μm) and in roughness values after from brushing (0.52 μm, 0.54 μm ve 0.53 μm) (p>0.05). Intra-group comparisons were no observed a statistically significant difference in first group (p=0.059) and third group (p=0.251), and was observed a statistically significant difference in second group (p=0.005). Conclusion: All toothpastes used in this study caused acceptable surface roughness values. Therefore, the use of three toothpastes in primary teeth are unobjectionable. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate in vitro the effect of child toothpaste with different content on milk mining surface smoothness. Tools and Methods: This study was carried out on the surface of the newly drawn, smooth, and no surface defects of the 30 top cranberry milk plant. The teeth are divided into three groups (n=10). The starting surface smoothness was measured from 3 different points with the profile meter device and the average was taken. In the first group Sensodyne Pronamel, in the second group Oral B Pro-Expert Stages and in the third group Elmex Kinder-Zahnpasta toothpaste with a loaded toothbrush (Oral B Triumph Trizone 5000) was applied for 2 minutes, twice a day, for a week. After the spray, the surface smoothness was re-meted. The data was analyzed statistically. Results: Between the three groups, there was no statistically significant difference between the initial smoothness values (0,47 μm, 0,48 μm and 0,52 μm) and the postwashing smoothness values (0,52 μm, 0,54 μm and 0,53 μm) (p>0,05). The first group (p=0,059) and the third group (p=0,251) were not statistically distinguished, while the second group (p=0,005) was statistically significant. The surface smoothness of all the toothbrushes used in the study is among acceptable values. Therefore, the use of three toothpaste in the milk teeth is not a problem.
