Abstract:

In the study, it is intended to study in terms of enriching the existence of primary Turkish teaching books. In accordance with this purpose, the activities of enriching the word existence have been studied in terms of gaining and the methods of the word teaching used. The research is conducted in accordance with the quality approach. The data source of the research is the first-school 1, 2, 3, 4th-class Turkish curriculum books, which have been implemented in the 2019-2020 educational year. The research has used the document review technique for the collection and analysis of data related to the curriculum books. The data obtained regarding the existence of the promise activities are subject to visual analysis. According to the research, in the primary school Turkish curriculum books for 3 different achievements in the 1st class, 35, in the 2nd class for 10 different achievements, 67, 3. There was a distribution of 74 events for 11 different achievements in class 76 and 4 for 16 different achievements. In the primary Turkish curriculum books, the conclusion was that 23 different word teaching methods were used, including the use of images, the use of sentences, the dictionary, the prediction, the use of the dictionary, the use of the meaning characteristics. Based on the findings, recommendations were presented, such as the balanced dissemination of the words in the Turkish curriculum activities in terms of achievements and the place of the events that contain different methods instead of continuously repeated events.
