Turkish textbooks are the main and the most important material used in the Turkish education process in North Macedonia. Therefore, the activities included in the textbooks should stimulate student’s thoughts and help them to develop their met cognitive skills. In this study, a total of 255 questions in the 5th -grade Turkish textbook published in North Macedonia in 2011 were tried to be classified and evaluated according to the cognitive process dimension of the Revised Bloom Taxonomy. Document analysis, which is a qualitative research method, was used in this work. It was detected that the text comprehension questions in the textbooks examined were concentrated on the basic level of the cognitive process dimension of the Revised Bloom Taxonomy and the number of questions indicating high level cognitive skills was quite low
