Abstract:

Abstract:

This study was done in order to compare the solution of glycerin used topically in blisters and the effects of menopause oil on the healing of the wounds. In the study, the animal material was composed of 42 days, 12 adult Japanese beans (Coturnix coturnix japonica). The animals were divided into two groups: the group of glycerin (Group I, n: 6) and the group of meningius (Group II, n: 6). Experimental wounds were created by injection of the tissue part containing the skin and subcutaneous connective tissue in the back areas of animals with a diameter of about 1.5 cm. Each wound was daily treated by topical throwing of gliserin, according to its group. The unhealed area of the wound was measured daily and biopsy samples were taken on the 3rd, 7th, 10th and 14th days for histopathological analysis. All the symptoms in the meningius group have completed their healing on the 12th day, and the 6 symptoms in the glicerin group have been found that 2 of the 16th, 2 of the 17th and 2 of the 18th day. In terms of the time of healing the wound was found that the group that applied the mineral oil was healed faster than the group that applied the solution of glycerin. In terms of the size of the wound, it was found that in the 4th, 9th, 10th, and 11th days (P< 0.05) the gliserin group was smaller. In terms of time, the impact on the wound sizes was found that both groups from the 7th day in their own assessment were statistically smaller. In light of the findings obtained, it has been concluded that the topical applications of peanut oil have beneficial effects on the healing of the wound.
