Bilimsel araştırmaların nasıl yürütüldüğünü bilmek sosyal bilimler ve din bilimlerinde de önemli bir konudur. Araştırmalarda problemi ortaya koymak, problemin önemini ve amacını ortaya koymak, bu probleme uygun yöntem ve teknikleri belirlemek, araştırmayı ilerletme aşamalarını ve bu süreçte nelere dikkat edileceğinin bilinmesinden geçmektedir. Bu makalede; sosyal bilimlerde araştırma yaklaşımları çerçevesinde din eğitimi biliminde kullanılabilecek yöntem ve teknikler ortaya konmaya çalışılacaktır. Bilimsel bir çalışma hazırlanırken uygulanması gereken kurallar vardır. Önemli olan kurallardan birisi de araştırmacının konuyu bilimsel yöntem ve teknikler muvacehesinde yani bir metodoloji çerçevesinde hazırlaması gerekmektedir. Bu makalenin hazırlanmasının amacı da, Din Eğitimi Bilimi araştırmacıları için yöntem ve yaklaşım noktasında onlara ışık tutarak konu hakkında teknik bilgiler vermek, uygun örnekler ile konuyu pekiştirmeye çalışmaktır. Çalışmamızda; din eğitimi bilimi ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalar, sosyal bilimler alanında ortaya çıkan yöntem ve yaklaşımlar, nicel yaklaşım, nitel yaklaşım ve karma yaklaşım çalışmalarından hareketle literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Bu başlıklar çerçevesinde de var olan literatür incelenmiştir.
Knowing how research is done is an important issue for social studies and theology. It's all about stating the problem, explaining the importance and purpose of the study, deciding on the techniques and methods suitable for the solution of the problem, stages of the process and knowing the things needed to be careful about. Methods and techniques used in the science of religion education in the framework of research approaches in social studies are revealed in this article. There are rules to obey while preparing a scientific study. One of the important rules is that the researcher must prepare the study using scientific methods and techniques. The aim of preparing this article is to give technical information to researchers of science of religion education about the subject while enlightening the researchers at the point of methods and techniques and reinforcing the subject with appropriate examples. In our study; the studies about the science of religion education, methods and approaches in the field of social studies are done literature review considering the information about quantitative approach, qualitative approach and mixed approach searching methods in literature. The literature that exists in the frame of these titles are examined.
