Abstract:

The Turkish Language, which has spread over a large area in the world geography, includes the dialects that we can follow with morpho-phonetic equivalences in terms of various phonetic and agglutinative features when we compare each other, in terms of East, West and North; It consists of groups called Karluk, Oghuz and Kipchak. Bashkir Turkish, which shows the characteristics of a transitional Turkish between Tatar and Kazakh Turkish in the northern dialect group of the Turkish language, also reflects its historical development as a modern dialect of the Turkish language; It started with oral products of folk literature such as folk songs, epics and stories. In the Bashkir oral tradition, epics are named in the form of kobayır, yır, and irtek. The expressions encountered in the Turkish epic tradition are similarly found in the Bashkir epics. Addressing the vocabulary of a language from different perspectives can be introductory in terms of revealing the cultural and sociological lives of societies. The fact that animals and animal culture have a privileged place in every stage of the literature, folklore, social and economic life of the Turkish nation; It is the natural result of a rich culture created by this nation living together with nature for years. Due to the introductory aspect of vocabulary studies in the life of the nation, in this study, mythological epics will be discussed in terms of animal names and related words, words will be classified according to their conceptual fields and evaluated with the frequency of use under the titles of nouns and verbs, from history to the present, when necessary. In some places, the head of the article will be brought to attention in terms of the changes in meaning and phonetic changes, if any, in Old Turkish and Anatolian Dialects. In this way, it is aimed to reveal the animal husbandry culture of the Turkish nation, which has lived intertwined with nature for many years, in terms of epics.
