Abstract:

This study examined the processes of developing a multi-solution pathway on paper and in the GeoGebra environment in a geometry problem that requires multi-solution of high school mathematicians. It is one of the research patterns that has been used in research. The study group, which will participate in the study, was created by the opinion of mathematical education specialists, by applying the prepared findings test created from 7 open end questions. Then a question has been created with more than one solution. The study group was asked to find ways to solve this problem first on paper, then in the GeoGebra environment. The solutions created in both environments have been analyzed and compared. The research has shown that high school mathematician candidates have created more solutions in the Geogebra environment. This outcome shows that the dynamic environment offered by GeoGebra is a more suitable environment for the creation of pathways for geometric problems.
