Abstract:

As a result of globalization and information technology, the level of awareness of individuals against society has also increased. Conscious individuals wanted to be the owner of the community, to decide about the area in which they live. The demands of citizens to make faster decisions about their regions have increased the need to localize the demands to be able to reach people in the administration faster. With localization, the individual’s desire to be a promoter has made it possible for the concept of participation to be implemented. The forming of the budgets that the municipalities will allocate in the needs and desires of the citizens in the region has made us familiar with the participating budgeting system. The aim of the study is to introduce the participating budgeting system and to show that it can be implemented in our country together with the world’s countries. The results of our analysis to the people of Crashkale have been determined whether there is awareness of the participant’s budget.
