Öğretmen adayların mesleklerine başlamadan önce aldıkları eğitim sürecinde öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik hazır bulunuşuklarının iyi sağlanması gerekmektedir. Hizmet öncesi eğitimde etkili öğretmenlik becerilerini kazandırmaya ve geliştirmeye yönelik uygulanan tekniklerden birisi de mikro öğretim uygulamalarıdır. Teknoloji destekli mikro öğretim ise mikro öğretim ortamına teknolojik araç gereçlerin eklenmesiyle öğrenme ortamlarıdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının teknolojik pedagojik alan bilgilerinin geliştirilmesi kapsamında uygulanan mikro öğretim tekniği hakkındaki görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma tekniklerinden birisi olan içerik analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu İç Anadolu Bölgesi’nde yer alan bir devlet üniversitesinin biyoloji eğitiminde pedagojik formasyon sertifika programını başarıyla tamamlayan 39 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma, Öğretim Teknolojileri ve Materyal Geliştirme dersi kapsamında 14 haftalık süreçte gerçekleşmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının sunumlarının gerçekleştiği sırada araştırmacı tarafından video kayıtları tutulmuştur ve elde edilen kayıtlar öğretmen adayları ile sunum sonunda paylaşılarak kendilerini izlemelerine ve öz değerlendirme yapmaları sağlanmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formundan elde edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler ise ATLAS.ti programında kategoriler ve kodlar oluşturularak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre Öğretmen adaylarının video kayıtlarını izledikten sonra öz-değerlendirmeleri sonucunda elde edilen verilere göre adayların öğretmenlik becerileri ile ilgili olarak kendilerinde beğendikleri özelliklerin (f=49) beğenmedikleri özelliklere (f= 90) göre daha az vurgulandığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca süreç sonunda öğretmen adaylarının mikro öğretim uygulamaları hakkındaki olumlu görüşleri (f=185) ve olumsuz görüşleri (f=15) kodlanarak analizleri yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda teknoloji destekli uygulama sürecinin öğretmen adaylarının mesleki açıdan gelişim gösterdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
Teachers must be prepared for the teaching profession in the training process they receive before they begin their professions. One of the techniques applied to acquire and develop effective teaching skills in pre-service training is micro-learning practices. Technology-backed micro-learning is a learning environment with the addition of technological vehicle tools to the micro-learning environment. The aim of this study is to study the opinions of teachers candidates on the micro-learning technique applied in the framework of the development of the knowledge of the technological pedagogical field. In the research, one of the quality research techniques is the content analysis technique used. The research study group consists of 39 teachers candidates who successfully completed the pedagogical formation certificate program in biology education of a state university located in the Anatolian Region. Research, Teaching Technologies and Material Development courses took place within 14 weeks. During the presentations of the teaching candidates, the researchers kept video recordings and the recordings obtained were shared with the teaching candidates at the end of the presentation, and they were able to monitor themselves and make self-evaluation. The data of the study was obtained from a semi-configured interview form. The data obtained from the research was analyzed by creating categories and codes in the ATLAS.ti program. According to the results obtained from the study, the data obtained from the results of the self-evaluation after watching the video recordings of the teaching candidates found that the characteristics they like in their teaching skills (f=49) were less emphasized than the characteristics they don’t like (f=90). At the end of the process, the positive opinions (f=185) and negative opinions (f=15) of the teacher candidates on the micro-learning practices were also analyzed. The research has concluded that the technology-backed application process has shown professional development of teachers candidates.
