Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the studies published in the journal "International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care" on the "cost-effectiveness analysis", one of the fields most studied within the Health Technology Assessment, in the context of specific parameters. The study has a quantitative research pattern based on bibliometric analyses, and is an assessment of 473 articles and studies from the Scopus database between 1987-2017 years, included in the selected magazine and the language of publication on "Cost-Effect Analysis" in English. The study found that the country with the highest number of studies was in 2009; the first three countries with the highest number of studies and the highest number of references were the United Kingdom, the U.S. and Canada, while the lowest number of references were Germany. It is also found that the countries that work with the most cooperation are the United States and the United Kingdom. The study found that the most publications published in the magazine were the Department of Public Health, but the most referenced institution was the Department of Medicine. The most studied author is Jönsson, the most referenced author is Drummond, and the most used keywords are cost-effectiveness, cost-effectiveness analysis and health technology assessment.
