Özet:

The research was carried out with the aim of examining the pre-school teachers' classroom practices in terms of their suitability for planning and development of children. The study group of the study consisted of 12 preschool teachers working in primary schools and independent kindergartens in Adiyaman city center. The “Individual Interview Form” was used to collect the data and the “Observation Form” was used to examine the video recordings. The data obtained were evaluated descriptively with frequency and percentages. In addition, the data obtained through individual interviews were presented with teacher code. As a result of the research, it was determined that the teachers had information about the MoNE 2013 Preschool Program but they could not reflect this clearly to the practice. The teachers stated that they were paying attention to the appropriateness of the conditions of the class and the conditions of the day while preparing the daily training flow; however, in addition to the activities in the daily training flow, they were also engaged in other activities. It was determined that the teachers stated that they started the learning process by making the necessary explanations by taking the children's attention and giving questions and answers in the form of questions and answers before starting the activities. While preparing an activity plan, the teachers stated that they attached importance to the level of children, being happy, learning with fun, using materials and different techniques, but they were found to comply partially with what they said in practice. In addition, it was found that providing family participation is important for the child and they did not carry out family participation activities in the activity plan and practices although they stated their benefits.
