Abstract:

Araştırmanın amacı Koronavirüs (Covid-19) salgınının Türkiye’de turizm sektörü üzerindeki gelişimini ortaya koymak, etkisini analiz etmek ve sonuçlarını değerlendirmektir. Araştırma turizm alanında havayolu işletmeleri, otel işletmeleri, tur operatörleri ve seyahat acentaları, yat ve tekne işletmeleri, yiyecek-içecek işletmelerinin üst düzey yöneticileri/sahipleriyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nitel bir araştırma olarak derinlemesine mülakat tekniği kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Veriler katılımcılarla yarı-yapılandırılmış soru formu aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. 2020 Nisan ayında her bir katılımcı ile yaklaşık 60 dakika süren bir görüşme gerçekleştirilmiştir. Görüşme soruları Koronavirüs (Covid-19) salgınının Türkiye’de görülmeden öncesi, salgın süreci ve sonrasına ilişkin değerlendirmeleri içerecek şekilde üç ana grupta toplanmıştır. Veriler betimsel analiz tekniği ile çözümlenmiştir. Sonuçta ulaşılan bulgular tartışılarak yorumlanmıştır.

The research was carried out with senior managers/owners of airline companies, hotel, tour operators, and travel agencies, yacht and boat companies, food and beverage in the field of tourism. As qualitative research was conducted using an in-depth interview technique. The data were collected with the respondents through a semi-structured questionnaire. It was held as a result of a 60-minute interview with each respondent in April 2020. Interview questions are grouped into three main groups as pre-, during-, and post-Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Turkey. The data was analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. As a result, the findings were discussed.
