Aile Hekimliği Uygulamasının Tercih Edilmeme Sebepleri: Şanlıurfa İli Örneği

Abstract:

The supply and demand of primary health care services has been seen as topic that has been discussed for years. This study was conducted to reveal the reasons why health care users do not prefer primary health services. The universe of this research, which is designed in a descriptive and cross-sectional type, consists of 18 age and above people residing in Şanlıurfa and 384 people were included as sample and 398 people were reached. The questionnaire method was used as a data collection tool. The questionnaire consists of two parts: demographic information form and a scale for individuals not top refer family physicians. Data were analyzed by SPSS 22 descriptive statistics. 55.8% of the participants are women 45.7% of the mare between the ages of 30-39 44% are undergraduate graduates 79.4% are married and 66.6% are servants/workers. When the levels of not choosing family medicine are analyzed in the analysis made according to their demographic characteristics Although there is a statistically significant difference in terms of gender, marital status, age, occupation, individuals first go to the family physician in any illness and going to the family physician to print medicine only, there is no statistically significant difference according to age.

The first stage of health care supply and demand has been seen as a topic discussed for years. This study was done to reveal the reasons why healthcare users prefer first-level healthcare services. The universe of this research, designed in a characteristic and cutting-edge type, consists of individuals aged 18 and older who reside in Sanlıurfa and included 384 people as an example and reached 398 people. The data collection method is used as a data collection tool. The survey form consists of two sections, the demographic form of information and the scale for individuals to prefer family doctors. SPSS 22 is evaluated by identifying statistics and analyses. 55.8% of participants are women; 45.7% are aged between 30 and 39 years; 44% are graduates; 79.4% are married and 66.6% are officials/workers. In the analysis based on their demographic characteristics, when the levels of preference of family medicine are studied, there are statistically significant differences in terms of gender, civil status, age, profession, the individual goes to the family doctor first in any disorder and the family doctor only to print the medicine, although there is no statistically significant differences in terms of age.

Birinci basamak sağlık hizmetleri arz ve talebi yıllardır tartışılan bir konu olarak görülmektedir. Bu çalışma, sağlık hizmeti kullanıcılarının birinci basamak sağlık hizmetlerini tercih etmeme sebeplerini ortaya koymak üzere yapılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tipte tasarlanan bu araştırmanın evreni Şanlıurfa’ da ikamet eden 18 yaş ve üzeri bireylerden oluşmakta olup örneklem olarak 384 kişi dahil edilmiş ve 398 kişiye ulaşılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Anket formu, demografik bilgi formu ve bireylerin aile hekimlerini tercih etmemelerine yönelik ölçek olmak üzere iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. SPSS 22 tanımlayıcı istatistikler ve analizler ile değerlendirilmiştir. Katılımcıların %55,8’i kadın; %45,7’si 30-39 yaş aralığında; %44’ü lisans mezunu; %79,4’ü evli ve %66,6’sı memur/işçidir. Demografik özelliklerine göre yapılan analizlerde aile hekimliği tercih etmeme düzeyleri incelendiğinde; cinsiyetine, medeni durumuna, yaşına, mesleğine, bireylerin herhangi bir rahatsızlıkta ilk olarak aile hekimine gitmesine ve aile hekimine sadece ilaç yazdırmak için gitmesine göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık bulunmasına rağmen yaşına göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık bulunmamaktadır.
