Özet Manyetik rezonans (MR) değişik planlarda görüntüleme olanağı veren ve günümüzde tanıya çok önemli katkısı olan yeni ve çağdaş bir yöntemdir. Manyetik rezonans görüntüleme (MRG), temporomandibular eklem (TME) ile ilgili artritik, neoplastik ve travmatik patolojinin değerlendirilmesinde belirli bir potansiyele sahiptir. Hızlı scanlı MR tekniklerinin sunulması T.M.E. diskinin fonksiyonel görüntüsünün değerlendirilmesinde önemli bilgiler sağlamaktadır.
