Bu makale 25 yaşındaki kadın danışan ile yürütülen tedavi süreci Bilişsel Davranışçı Terapi (BDT) ekolü üzerinden ele alınmıştır. Danışanın yeni bir ülkeye taşınma süreciyle birlikte gün yüzüne çıkan depresif semptomlar ve işlevselliğini etkileyen noktalar ile seanslara başlanmıştır. Buna ek olarak, öncesinde bulunan OKB tanısı da mevcuttur. Yeni bir ülkeye taşınmasından da önce anne ve babanın danışan küçük yaştayken geçimsizlik ile boşanması kendisinin genel ruh sağlığında önemli izler bırakmıştır. Bu terapi seansları 7 oturum halinde yapılmış ve halen devam etmektedir. Danışanla ilk seanslar terapötik ilişki, psikoeğitim ve anamnez üzerine durulmuş ve sonrasında semptomlarla ilerlenmiştir. Bu yakınmalar ve işlevselliği düşüren noktalar üzerinde BDT’ nin önemli elementlerinden olan ev ödevleri verilmiştir. Bunlar arasında otomatik düşüncelerin takibi, helikopter bakış açısı gibi etkinlikler bulunmaktadır.
This article was discussed through the process of treatment conducted with a 25-year-old female consultant by the Column of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (BDT). With the process of the consultant’s move to a new country, sessions have begun with depressive symptoms and points affecting his functionality. In addition, there is also an OCD diagnosis that has been present before. Before moving to a new country, the childhood of the mother and father’s divorce with disability left significant traces in his general mental health. These therapeutic sessions were held in 7 sessions and are still ongoing. The first sessions with the consultant focused on therapeutic relationships, psychoeducation and anamnesis and then progressed with symptoms. On these approaches and points that lower functionality, home tasks, which are important elements of BDT, are given. These include activities such as the tracking of automatic thoughts, the helicopter perspective.
In this paper, the treatment process with a 25-year-old female client is discussed through the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Sessions were started with the depressive symptoms that emerged with the process of moving to a new country and the points affecting the functionality of the patient. In addition, there is a pre-existing diagnosis of OCD. Even before moving to a new country, the divorce of the parents due to incompatibility at a young age left important traces on his general mental health. These therapy sessions were held in 7 sessions and are still ongoing. The first sessions with the client focused on the therapeutic relationship, psychoeducation and anamnesis, and then progressed with the symptoms. Homework, which is one of the important elements of CBT, was given on these complaints and points that reduce functionality. These include activities such as tracking automatic thoughts, helicopter perspective.
