The analysis of the literature and materials of own research into the regime of the main polluting components and the chemical composition of water in rivers and lakes of Shu, Esil, Tobol, the Syr Darya basins in the long-term cycle. The background of hydrochemical regime of the rivers at the modern period has been investigated. The water of the rivers is contaminated with mineral and organic origin substances (mostly with the compounds of manganese, fluoride, phosphate, nitrate and nitrogen nitrite) have shown which is entering to the river due to natural and anthropogenic factors. The total mineralization of river water downstream in the majority of cases is increased.
