Abstract:

Word frequency works are works that play an important role in the extraction and description of the characteristics of the word existence. From the past to today, many theoretical and practical studies have revealed the various aspects of vocabulary frequency. In the computing methods based compilation studies, from the preparation of the compilation to the discovery of the linguistic characteristics, the use of software makes the broader and more detailed statistics of frequency knowledge change the view of literary works. In terms of quantity, the knowledge of frequency has become the outcome point. Thus, the concrete appearance of characteristics in the works comparisons both makes the comparison more observable and uncertain and ensures the discovery of unknown patterns about the work. Frequency also ensures the formation of homogeneous samples, and plays a key role in extracting many advanced statistical techniques. Although the first achievement of frequency distribution is an impressive aspect, the analysis processes enriched with equalized patterns also extend the perspective of the literary work. In this study, three important representatives of the Second New Poetry, Edip Cansever, Cemal Süreya and Turgut Uyar's all poems, were studied by an illustrative statistical method. These three poets can represent both simple word frequencies, homogeneous samples and compatibility results have been addressed in a software-supported form. Three poets have a very rich word existence of 62.85% in terms of word diversity and the use of 15,143 different equalized words has arisen as the quantitative characteristics of the word beings.
