Abstract:

This study aims to study the impact of learning objects design on the creative thinking and scientific process skills of math teacher candidates. The research work group; Marmara University, Ataturk Education Faculty, Primary Education Department, Primary Mathematics Teaching in the third class and taking the Web-supported Mathematics Teaching course, the first and second classes consist of a total of 48 teachers candidates students. In the study, the semi-experimental method of the pre-test - final test control group has been used to investigate the impact of the design of learning objects on the creative thinking and scientific process skills of the mathematical teacher candidates. In the framework of the pre-test - the final test control group pattern, the dependent variables are the creative thinking and scientific process skills of the teacher candidates. The independent variable that studies the impact on these dependent variables is a learning object-centered approach. In the study, control and experiment groups were created in order to study the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. In the control group, a classical approach is followed in accordance with the curriculum content specified in the curriculum and a teacher-centered approach, while in the experiment group, a learning object-centered approach is followed. Learning is one of several studies in the field of education related to object design, it is believed that research is important based on its contribution to the field writing and the findings obtained.
