The purpose of this text is to focus on how Kant’s political theory defines the coup. Kant states that if the actions relating to the rights of others are not public, they are unfair. The political principle for Kant is communism. In this context, it appears that the principle of publicity that Kant has proposed is not covered with the coups. For military coupes do not count on the concept of controversiality, which is the essence of politics. The nature of the political action must be open to the public. For Kant, therefore, revolution is a government coup. Kant is also opposed to the rebellious authority. His bad order is better than unregularity. Therefore, if the power of the state to make the law effective is resisted, the civil constitution will be destroyed and the constitutional status of the people will end.
