Abstract:

This study is a correlational research aimed at determining the variables that cover the qualifications of the WebQuest activities designed by teachers candidates. From the variables included in the model, the variable (dependent) of the competence of the WebQuest activities; the perception of the use of WebQuest in teaching, the academic success and the level of use of information and communication technologies, the variable (independent) has been treated as the variables of the WebQuest. The research was conducted with 74 teachers candidates who studied in the secondary school math teaching department of a state university. The WebQuestler prepared by the teaching candidates in accordance with the achievements of the mathematical curriculum in accordance with the purpose of the study was evaluated by the "WebQuest Assessment Table (Rubric)" . The data is collected with the faculty records, the perception scale for the use of WebQuest in mathematics teaching and the scale for the level of use of information and communication technologies. Regression analysis techniques are used in the analysis of data. The study concluded that 53.5% of the qualifications of the WebQuest activities designed by teachers candidates were explained by the level of use of information and communication technologies.
