Abstract:

Dikkat eksikliği hiperaktivite bozukluğu (DEHB) çocuk ve ergenlerde en sık görülen nörogelişimsel bozukluklardan biri olup temel belirtileri dikkat eksiliği, aşırı hareketlilik ve dürtüselliktir. Atomoksetin DEHB tedavisinde etkinliği kanıtlanmış bir selektif noradrenalin geri alım inhibitörüdür. Gastrointestinal problemler, uyku problemleri, irritabilite, yorgunluk gibi yan etkilerinin olduğu bilinmekle beraber atomoksetin aynı zamanda tik bozukluğu da olan DEHB’li çocuk ve ergenlerde sıklıkla tercih edilmektedir. Ancak literatürde atomoksetin tedavisi sırasında tikleri başlayan veya var olan tikleri şiddetlenen az sayıda hasta bildirilmiştir. Bu olgu sunumunda DEHB tedavisi için atomoksetin kullanan ve tedavi ile tikleri tetiklenen 7 yaşında bir çocukta bu yan etkinin mekanizması tartışılmıştır.

Abstract:

Attention deficiency hyperactivity disorder (DEHB) is one of the most common neuro-development disorders in children and adolescents and the main symptoms are attention deficiency, excessive mobility and impulsivity. Atomoxetine is a selective noradrenaline recovery inhibitor that has been proven to be effective in the treatment of ADHD. Although it is known that it has side effects such as gastrointestinal problems, sleep problems, irritability, fatigue, atomoxetine is often preferred in children and adolescents with ADHD, who have a disorder. But in the literature, a few patients who began or intensified the existing tumors during the treatment of atomoxetine have been. In the presentation of this fact, the mechanism of this side effect was discussed in a 7-year-old child who used atomoxetine for the treatment of ADHD and triggered clots with treatment.
