Abstract:

The purpose of the present study is to examine the blended learning activities offered in Program Development in Guidance (PDG) courses to the students of the Guidance and Psychological Counseling (GPC) Program at a foundation university. Online activities were designed and applied through the student management system together with the face-to-face education in the Spring Semester of 2018-2019 Academic Year. The data of the study were collected with the Student Opinions Scale on Blended Learning Method and Application of Blended Learning Method and the PDG Course Learning Outcomes Questionnaire. The study group consisted of 57 students who studied in the PDG Program. Descriptive statistics were employed to determine the viewpoints of the students on the blended method, the application of it, and the level of achievement of the learning outcomes in the PDG course. When the general average points of the viewpoints of the students on the blended learning method and the application of the blended learning method were examined, it was determined that the positivity level was high. According to the viewpoints of the students, it was also seen that the average positive contribution level of the PDG course to the learning outcomes was at a moderate level.
