Abstract:

In this study, aspirin (Carthamus tinctorius L.) cushion (AK) has studied the performance parameters of chickens, the quality characteristics of the eggs, the effects of yellow fatty acids and cholesterol levels. In the study conducted in the random parcel test pattern, a total of 72 brown-egged Lohmann breed chickens were used in 43 weeks of age, including 12 wheels in each of the six treatment groups (%0, 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15) containing AK in different proportions. Eating and water is given as ad libitum, the total daily lighting time is applied as 16.5 hours. In a nine-week (63 days) study, the different doses of AC did not affect the living weight, food consumption, food conversion rate, egg productivity, egg weight, shape index, shape index, yellow index, shape weight, shape thickness, shape breakdown resistance, Haugh unit, yellow weight, yellow fat ratio and yellow color values (P>0.05). However, the effect of different doses of AC on the total amount of egg yellow cholesterol, egg yellow saturated fatty acids and total amount of non-saturated fatty acids has been significant (P<0.05). According to the results of this study, without any adverse effects on performance, mortality and egg quality, AK could be used up to 15% in egg cows’ proportions.
