Abstract:

The purpose of the article is to develope 'Spiritual Perception of Support' scale for Doctors, Nurses and Midwives working in inpatient treatment institutions, to make the validity and reliability analyzes. Although the concept of Spiritual Care of the developmental process continues, identification and classification process in the health field is not yet completed. In this study, 'Spiritual Care, not interfering inpatients of medical treatment In the hospitals in any way, is a spiritual life support services to suggest spiritual indoctrination to the patient who request, to support them mental (spiritual) and moral aspects, to guide fulfilling worship within the framework of the possibilities of their diseases and to support the living resistance. First, the item pool was created through the relevant literature investigating the item pool was submitted to expert opinion to Create the ensure content validity. According to expert opinion as a pilot scale organized 50 Doctors, Nurses and Midwives applied to the reliability coefficient (Cronbach alpha) was found to be 0.963. the re-test was performed on Health workers and the correlation coefficient was determined to be 0.947. in the next step The Scale were performed. on the public hospital inpatient Union institutions (hospitals) serving 244 Doctors, Nurses and Midwives of Denizli Province. As a result of the reliability analysis for the scale reliability coefficient (Cronbach alpha) was found to be 0.940 and a substance that affects the internal consistency has been removed. the results of the exploratory factor analysis of variance demonstrating the construct +validity of a rate of 58.4%, the scale has been found to be the only factor. Because of its Being the first and the only moral support scale improved in Turkey, As far as we know, the parallel form works are not included. According to these results, the scale is a valid and reliable instrument.
