In this present study differences of conflict resolving anger and aggression levels of high school 9th grade students in terms of gender and families’ income level variables were assessed and the relationship between conflict resolving anger and aggression was examined This study was carried out on a study group of 266 students currently studying in Abidinpaşa High School on Ankara Province Mamak District For collecting data on the conflict resolving anger and aggressiveness levels of student A Scale for Identification of Conflict Resolution Behavior Koruklu 1998 Aggression Questionnaire Can 2002 and State Trait Anger Scale which was adapted into Turkish Language by Özer 1994 was used in the study The statistical analysis of the collected data was conducted by using One Way Analysis of Varience Anova t test Pearson Product – Moment Correlation and Scheffe’s Test As a result significant differences were determined between the genders in terms of levels of physical aggression anger expression in aggression as sub dimension of conflict resolution and problem solving Furthermore significant differences were determined between the students from families with different income levels in terms of levels of total physical verbal indirect aggression and anger Additionally significant differences were also determined between the students from families with different income levels in terms of levels of anger expression out and aggression as sub dimension of conflict resolution Also positive and negative significant relations were observed between conflict resolution anger and aggression Key Words: Conflict Resolution Anger Aggression Adolescents
