The objective of the followed study was to analyze the influence in low intensity body activities, which included walking, weight training respecting to the Body Mass Index (BMI) and blood pressure regulation on patients who were subject to do gastroplasty. Our showing was consisted of 20 fat women, sedentary, hypertensive, controlled by medications. From this total, 10 made an experimental group which predicated our program, consisted of walking exercises in tapis roulant for 30 minutes, three times a week, in a intensity of 60% to 70% of the highest heart frequency allowed to their age, associated to a weight training, twice a week, consisted of 8 exercises with 3 series of 12 times with 1 minute between them. The others 10 women didn’t exercise. The experimental group had a reduction on BMI of 23.84%, whereas the control group had a reduction of 16.10%, getting a 7.74% of difference. What we can notice using the study is that a low intensity body exercises program had good reductions on BMI and in blood pressure regulation.
