Abstract:

The aim of this study is to develop a scale in order to determine the attitudes of high school students towards the psychological counseling and guidance (PDR) service. This aim has been first studied related literature and identified cognitive, behavioral and sensual characteristics that can be a indicator of attitude towards the service of guidance in high school students. There are 30 articles written in these indicators. After the expert opinion and pre-application, 4 items were removed and 26 material application forms were created. The data was collected from 599 high school students. The data is processed with SPSS 21 and AMOS 21. The structure validity of the measurement has been analyzed by the opening factor analysis (AFA) and the verifying factor analysis (DFA). In order to find evidence of the reliability of the measurement, the Cronbach Alfa internal consistency ratio was calculated and test-up reliability was made. According to the analysis, the scale is composed of 18 sub-dimensions and two sub-dimensions. As a result of the verifying factor analysis, the model conformity index was found to be quite good. The Cronbach Alfa internal consistency ratio for the whole measurement is calculated as .92.
